Ferry

Every record, safely across.

Fixed-price data migration between behavioral health EHRs, with every record mapped, checked and accounted for.

Why Ferry

EHR vendors focus on getting you live, not on getting every old record across. Missing notes, broken documents and lost claims surface months later.

Built for practices and programs switching EHRs, consolidating after an acquisition, or leaving a system that is shutting down.

Questions

How do you migrate data between EHRs?

We review exports from your current system and agree a fixed price. Then we map fields to the new system and test on a sample. Last, we run the full migration and give you a reconciliation report for every record type. For the full process, see our EHR data migration guide for behavioral health.

What does a migration include?

A fixed-price quote, field mapping and a test run, clinical notes, documents and demographics, open claims reconciliation, Part 2 consent handling, and an archive-only option for legacy data.

How much does an EHR data migration cost?

Solo practices pay $1,500 flat. Groups pay $5,000 to $15,000 flat, priced by volume and systems. Multi-site programs and acquisitions start from $20,000 flat.

What should an EHR migration checklist include?

Plan, test, cut over and verify. Name an owner, list every data type, get a test export, map fields, test on a sample of clients, freeze the old system at cutover, then reconcile counts for clients, notes, documents and appointments. Keep our EHR migration checklist open during each stage.

Which EHRs do you support?

Common behavioral health systems and others on request. We confirm after reviewing an export.

Will we have downtime?

We plan cutover around your schedule to keep it minimal.

Do you sign a BAA?

Yes.

What if data cannot be exported?

We tell you during scoping and offer an archive option. If you are deciding what to move versus keep offline, start with archive vs migrate.
